Dear Nicholas---I missed you so much on my 44th birthday yesterday! It snowed like crazy, and it was very cold & windy. Kyle & Carissa met Deven & Arielle at my party, and Kyle said how much Deven looks like you as a baby. I met your new little cousin, Harrison, yesterday, and got to see how big Hud is now. Last school year i was given the oppertunity to tutor at Fairfield Primary for part of the year and I was assigned to your sister Emma's class. I worked with her almost every day and all she would talk about was you and how much she missed you. It was so sad, yet cute, to hear the things that she would say about you. She wluld tell me about how you were her big hero when Jake would be having a pillow fight with her; how you would grabanother pillow and team up with her against him. She always spoke so highly of you; never telling me of a time that she was mad at you, as she did with stories of your brother. I can tell that she looked up to you and misses you a lot, as we all do. Miss you Nick and hope that you are happy.

Dear Son--On this day 21 years ago, November 27th, 1987, I went into labor with you. It was around 7 am on a Friday. Your Dad & I didn't go to the hospital until around 9:30 pm Saturday night, and you arrived at 7:24 pm on Sunday evening, November 29th. You sure were worth the wait!!!!! The docs thought I'd need a C-section to deliver you, and they all joked about how babies seemed to know to interrupt their Sunday Night Football games---LOL!!!! (No, you didn't arrive by C-section, because you turned yourself around at the last minute, and I didn't require one.)
Thinking of you so much on this Thanksgiving Day, and always, Nick. I love & miss you so much, Handsome!
Dear Son--At this time 21 years ago, I was the happiest I had ever been in my entire life. You, my first child, were due to be born in days. (My due date was December 1st, and you arrived on November 29th.)
You left this Earth 20 months ago today, and I miss you more than words can say!!!! I love you, Nicholas.

On Friday, 10/17/08, I was interviewed by WABI-TV 5 News, and it aired at 5:40 pm that same evening. I spoke of suicide awareness & prevention, and it was taped out to Maplegrove.
On Saturday, the 18th, I participated in the AFSP's Out of the Darkness Walk in Waterville, Maine. Grammy Jane, and my friend, Cheryl, walked with me in support of the cause.
Hi, Nick---You have been gone from this Earth for 19 months today, and I miss you more than ever! I will be doing the AFSP Walk this Saturday in your memory, I think about you all the time. Love ya--Mum
It's been 18 sad & lonely months for me since you passed away, my Son. I miss you SOOOOOO much, it hurts so badly. Please know that yesterday Gram took Deven, Arielle, & me shooping to get some clothes & things for your son for the winter season. He's so handsome & smart, Nick, and he looks just like you did as a baby. We even ate lunch at Red Robin. I took everyone there on purpose, Nick, because I knew that you had been there before. Dev sure liked those mandarin oranges, steak fries, & chicken/cheese quesadillas (sp?)!

Dear Son---I miss you so much, I am so lonely. I held Deven the other day, he is precious beyond words. Only I wish that you were here to hold him, too. My life just doesn't ever seem real, and how COULD it ever seem that way with you not in it? I am very grateful that we have Arielle & Deven in our lives, we know you're smiling about that!

Your little boy turns a year old today, Nick, and I'm sure you're watching him from above. I still have Brannan Bear to give to him for you--the one you bought a long time ago. He should have it, something from his daddy. I will attend a committee meeting this morning for the AFSP's Out of the Darkness Walk scheduled for October in Waterville. Love ya----Mum
Today marks 16 long & sad months since you left this Earth, Nick. We all love & miss you SOOOOOO much! Please watch over me when I have my surgery on the 4th, I am a little bit frightened. I will go out to 'see' you today, and water your flowers. Much love to you!
Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you on the 4th. We are having a (hopefully!) quiet day here, the girls playing in the kiddie pool. Jake, Sara, Great-Gram & Gramp will be over here for a cookout later on. Papa Don, Grammy Jane, Lisen & Dani will arrive home from London tomorrow. Can you believe that they actually stood in line at Wimbledon for six HOURS waiting to get in to see some tennis???? Love ya!
